I love these Mill Creek sets and have purchased most of them.  Over the weekend I was at Wal-Mart and grabbed the SCI-FI INVASION and COMBAT CLASSICS packs for $10 each (that's an amazing 20 cents per movie!)  I'm happy to see that Mill Creek upgraded the packaging and now uses plastic snap cases and includes booklets containing brief liner-notes for each movie.

Last night, I opened the glorious SCI-FI INVASION set and watched THE CREEPING TERROR.  My intention was to watch WELCOME TO BLOOD CITY, but I changed my mind at the last moment and opted to start out with what is likely the worst movie among the bunch.  Bless you, Mill Creek!

I got Sci-Fi Invasion a few weeks ago, but haven't really dug into it yet.

I do love the packaging mill creek has used the last 2 or years now as well.

I love those packs.  If I ever met the guy that came up with the idea to sell 50 movies together for ten bucks or so, I'd buy the guy a cookie.

I found a lot of good stuff on that Sci-Fi Invasion set.  I actually ended up getting Future Women aka The Girl From Rio by Jess Franco on a regular DVD.  And if you haven't seen R.O.T.O.R., well, you're in for a "treat" lol.

been meaning to pick up that sci fi invasion set for the sole purpose of watching ROTOR.
I am definitely a fellow Mill Creek Fanatic here is what I have from them.
Pure Terror 50  pack
Chilling Classics 50 pack
Drive in Classics 50 pack
Nightmare Worlds 50 pack
Dark Crimes 50 pack
Explosive Action 12 pack
Blood Bath 12 Pack
Gore house Greats 12 pack
10,000 Ways to Die 12 pack
Rare Cult Cinema 12 pack

That's an astounding 300 plus collection of movies nobody should probably own. I haven't seen a fraction of these films yet and likely never will but at the prices I picked up these sets for I could care less.

Let us know what you think of it!

My husband Alan loves these big movie packs. He may end up with at least a couple of copies of some movies but he still buys them.
Yes,I'm fine....as long as I don't look too closely.

That Sci-fi Invasion one sounds pretty good.  I'll have to keep an eye out for it.  I have the Horror Classics, Chilling Classics and Drive-In 50 packs.  I usually break them out around this time of year!
