I used to enjoy The Black Cauldron when I was a kid.

I watched it last night, and I think it's held up well.

So if no one protests, I'll add it as number 56.

58. Ultimate Avengers (2006)
59. Ultimate Avengers 2 (2006)
They don't entirely follow the comic book series, but very well-animated and good voice acting.  Fairly violent for small kids.

54. ALICE IN WONDERLAND (1966)

ALICE IN WONDERLAND is great, but, it is 1951, not 1966.

Some great suggestions... others, not so much.  Why not one selection at a time?  Okay, I'll post two great ones:

60. THE MOUSE AND HIS CHILD (1977) is wonderful, takes time, is unusual, perhaps a bit short-sighted, so lovely, and the whole film is available at the moment on YouTube:

61. PINOCCHIO (1940)

True; I love the 1966 BBC production of ALICE, but it's not animated. I meant 1951.

62. BLOOD TEA AND RED STRING (2006)

Nobody mentioned Fleischer Studios' GULLIVER'S TRAVELS (1939)?   Great animation, great songs, childhood TV broadcast favorite... full movie available on YouTube:

65. THE SNOW QUEEN (1957)  A Soviet era Russian film, shown on USA TV for many years (with voices by TOMMY KIRK and SANDRA DEE) this YouTube is the re-dubbed English language version from the '90s which supplanted the original English language version and well worth a look.

66. ASPARAGUS (1979)

This surreal short played as the opening act for ERASERHEAD for a while. It's got bizarre and explicit sexual imagery.
