     I've mentioned this cow before, Hyacinth Bucket on KEEPING UP APPEARANCES. She's a bigoted , selfish snob who needs to have someone tell her about herself, if only to prick the grandiose balloons she travels through life on.

Roseanne and D.J. on Roseanne

I kind of like Roseanne (the character) in the first few seasons, but  that show took a hard left turn when Roseanne (real life) hooked up with Tom Arnold.  DJ was....I guess I didn't find him annoying per se, but he's a real nonentity of a character; which is weird seeing as Becky & Darlene (and later Mark & David) were well fleshed-out (how likeable they were is debatable  )  The writers never seemed to know what to do with him.


I'll see your Doogie Howser and raise you a Barney Stinson (HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER). No sane person would ever be friends with this one-dimensional prick. Ted and Lilly are pretty terrible too.  I love Marshall, and Robyn has her moments, but I find myself asking why I bother with this show, way too often.
