I saw this last night on the MGM channel and wow, did it underwhelm me or what.....or something, I dunno. Duncan Jax and his pet baboon named Boon  :buggedout: fight crime as part of a anti-crime and anti-good acting / film making unit and Jax can really kick some ass when he puts on his special mask which makes him look like a transvestite belly dancer crossed with a quadriplegic ninja.  :buggedout:

Cheesy fun with a pseudo James Bond title sequence and theme song.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

It is one of those films that everyone here will like or at least, tolerate.

There's a sequel: Order Of The Black Eagle:smile:
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

These two movies are part of my bad movie "Hall of Fame". They are unbelievable. I personally think that the first one (Unmasking the Idol) is the weakest of the two but necessary for viewing the sequel. Let me put it this way, the opening line of the sequel is "Duncan Jax is the world's greatest ninja!" He is? When did that happen? Other highlights: worst falling dummy in film, a bad guy who hates old people, and a sand buried ninja who gets ran over by a 4 wheeler. If you missed these when they were on Netflix I pity you as they are now only on VHS. Fingers crossed on future DVD release and I promise you I will purchase both and have episodes on our podcast for each movie. Classics.

"O the legend they say, on a Valentine's Day, is a curse that'll live on and on.."
