Just got word today that my sequel to THE TESTIMONIUM, MATTHEW'S AUTOGRAPH, has been accepted for publication.
It will release very late in 2015 or early 2016. :bouncegiggle:

That's three novels completed, three novels published!

Now to start number Four!!!! :teddyr:
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

Congrats, Indie!!

Ooh, write a religious-based horror novel! That would be a different direction, just for a change of pace.

There may actually be something like that in the future . . .
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

The man is a work horse...only with a better vocabulary.
"Aggressivlly eccentric, and proud of it!"

Religious horror may actually be an old phenomena.

Some have seen a warning as to what might happen, if man tries to emulate God and create human life, in "Frankenstein."

And some have seen the coming of Dracula, as the coming of the anti-Christ with Renfield as his anti-John the Baptist, in "Dracula."

And, while I can't think of any others at the moment, I am sure there are many other horror novels out there that have a religious bent to them.

Ted Dekker and Frank Peretti have made a mint writing Christian horror novels.
Some of them are pretty decent, too!

My latest novel starts with a speech from Nero to the Roman Senate - horrifying in a completely different way.
"I shall smite you in the nostrils with a rod of iron, and wax your spleen with Efferdent!!"

The Exorcist as novel and film qualifies.
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Yeah, it does. I don't know how I missed that one. Maybe, because I have yet to read the book or see the film in its entirety. Even though, from what I have seen of the film, It is probably one of the best horror films ever made.
