Weird 70's (horror) movie that has been plaguing me since childhood

For years, I have been plagued by a movie from my childhood that I cannot remember. The few images that I can remember are so vivid, but I'm at a huge loss as to what movie it may be from. I'm a huge horror buff along with my fiancee and good friends, but despite what I describe, it stumps all of them. Hopefully someone here can help!

From what I can remember, the movie is set in either Greece or Italy; I remember the style of the houses being that type of architecture. I believe a man and a woman are working together to kill off either a lover or a group of people. There is a goat involved as a sacrifice, I think. Now, this is where it gets even hazier. I can vividly remember a man getting buried alive in lye, and a transvestite with blue blue eye shadow getting a gun shoved into their mouths. I could be blending two movies with the tranny, but like I said, I cannot remember much more than that.

If you have any inkling of an idea, please let me know! I've scoured the internet and have not been able to find anything that jogs my memory.
