Howdy ... not one but FOUR old (50s, 60s) B&W films that I saw on late night TV ...
1) (foreign - Hammer?) Secluded island in Mediterranean, mansion, with a troupe of dwarves are among terrorized victims of mysterious slayer.
2) (foreign?) Maybe a collection of stories: in one, we are in a snowbound cabin in Eastern Europe, with some folkloric vampires (?) wandering about outside. They were called Vergilax or some such. Don't answer the door!
3) Old sci-fi film with semi-famous actor in lead (Cushing?). Pre-"Aliens", but with many scenes, including one where the space explorers find an abandoned spacecraft with dead pilot with burst chest, VERY reminiscent of that newer film. E.g., one by one, all die but main character, whom we leave alone on the planet ... (Venus ... "Vampires of Venus"?)
4) Three people (married couple and extra guy) are imprisoned in a huge underground cavern ... hidden under a mansion. The only other character I remember is an old, frail lady, presumably with a set of keys, who comes downstairs with their meals. The cavern has a lake in it and a big rock next to the shore that the trio uses for cover whenever the plesiosaur-like monster surfaces .. note the extra guy is eaten ...
Thanks!

Rayo Casablanca

1. Could be BLOODY PIT OF HORROR (1965) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0058983/?ref_=nm_ov_bio_lk1
4. Sounds like DRAGONSLAYER (obviously it's not B&W or 1950s, but early 80s) as it does have a cavern, a lake, a big rock, and a dragon that looks kind of like a plesiosaur. Images here: http://www.thenostalgicattic.com/dragonslayer-1981/

#4 is "It's Alive", a TV movie from 1969.
Kneel before Dr. Hell, the ruler of this world!

Thanks! Both are correct, and, yes, our TV at the time WAS B&W!
