NAACP head in Spokane is actually a white woman with a bad spray on tan

I'm so confused... for months I was told (by the news) that a guy wants to be a girl and gets a sex change and it's all good (we must call the guy a girl)... so how does this white girl wants to be black makes it any more different. So she wants to be black. I don't see an issue... if I'm forced to accept a man wants to be a woman as NORMAL.

Oddly, I recall in the Pink Panther story, there was a guy that thought he was Napoleon, he was inside a psycho ward (and we thought it was a correct place for people like him)... maybe he's not insane, and he's correct in thinking he's Napoleon... or maybe we (society as a whole) is too willing to accept what is odd as normal and make normal as odd.

This story has gone from being moderately amusing to downright offensive as far as I am concerned.

I can see how a man would want to be a woman just due to chromosomes and testosterone and whatnot. 98% of babies are born straight a few are born gay or in some sort of confusion that seems logical to me.

Thinking you're black is another story. Africa is a place, it's not a gene.

Sure there is some people born liking same sex... but that doen't mean transgender. I do know the transgender suicide rate is 41%. 41% is almost half, that's a big freaking number. I think this is a mental sickness that needs to be addressed (not awarded or mocked) there are people that are going through the operation and killing themselves because it's irreversible and sometimes they find out the gay relationship don't work out well. I think it was best said on South Park when Mr Slave was leaving Mr Garrison "I liked you because I like guys!" (I do believe this holds some truth)

Yeah, I understand there are issues with sex changes much moreso than with homosexuality or other things. Johns Hopkins doesn't do them anymore I don't think?

Bruce Jenner isn't like the first person who's had or is going to have it done though. That's why I didn't care about that whole thing too much. Wow someone I don't know is getting a sex change that's great!

Anyway, I'm only bringing him in this topic because they do have similarities. The fact is and no matter how much of a sex change Bruce Jenner gets... he will always be a boy!

One could say she was in the closet 'wanting to be black' and this just forced her to come out of the closet. So big deal she was caught.

I think if this happen in any other company (it would be a non-news issue). The point that she was a big wheel in the NAACP (which is raciest by default - since we all know that the person HAS to be black to have her spot) And I'm going to believe that the NAACP told her to reign.

Her parents were ex hippy born again home schoolers who had tons of rules and so forth. Not to disparage any of these groups but ...she had a bad childhood. it's not surprising she would want to in essence turn into something else
