For the first time in years it looks like Adam Sandler is involved in a good movie.

The cast looks pretty good with Kevin James, Michelle Monaghan, Brian Cox and Peter Dinklage  :buggedout: joining Sandler.
Kubrick, Nolan, Tarantino, Wan, Iñárritu, Scorsese, Chaplin, Abrams, Wes Anderson, Gilliam, Kurosawa, Villeneuve - the elite

I believe in the international communist conspiracy to sap and impurify all of our precious bodily fluids.

I saw the preview at the Theater and hardly anyone in the audience laughed  :buggedout:

Didn't know much about this movie but once I saw Kevin James and Adam Sandler I was like  :bluesad:

I love the concept - "Ghostbusters" meets "Wreck It Ralph!" - but I really really wish it starred someone other than Sandler.

Sandler isn't terrible. :bouncegiggle:

He seems like he's probably be a cool guy to hang out and have a few beers with but I haven't liked many of his movies that I've seen since, oh, I dunno, Happy Gilmore probably... and that was how many years ago now?

He's hit and miss. I liked Wedding Singer, Big Daddy, Hotel Transylvania.

He's had terrible films. He's capable of better.

And I agree, he seems personable and like a guy I'd want a beer with.

I saw the earlier today. Is it an all time great film, nope. I found it to be fun and enjoyable.

Kevin James did a passable job in this. Sandler....well he is what he is.

I liked the performances of the other lead actors and actress.

The concept is great, but I think it could've been executed much better.

Looks like another Sandler "miss" - 19% Rotten Tomatoes rating.

Kneel before Dr. Hell, the ruler of this world!

dean

Watch the fun short film instead [this was made and then sold conceptually to Sandler's company]

Is it really that bad? It is not a film I need to see or care to see, but . . .?! I did see the trailer for it, and this may not be saying that much, but . . .?! The trailer did make it look to be one of Sandler's better films.

I thought this movie was well done. Kept my attention. I like both Adam Sandler and Kevin James so this was a great combination for me. I think the movie had a good plot and a smooth flow.

I went and saw this with my 14yo son.  We had a great time.  I really enjoyed this, give it a shot.
This is my awesome signature.  Jealous?

bob

I'm guessing critics s**t all over this because iof Adam Sandler and never gave Pixels a fair shot.
