When I got my new iPad Mini 3 on a whim I decided to try selling my old iPad second generation on eBay.  It still ran but was having problems syncing, it couldn't keep a connection.  Plus it wouldn't charge above 11%.  (Yes I made sure to specify that it wasn't working all that great in the listing).  I figured if it sold great if it didn't then there was always the recycling box at Best Buy.  I listed it for $16 figuring there wouldn't be any bids or if there were it would either sell for $16 or a little over that.  By the time it was done it had gotten up close to $70.  (Plus I had the buyer paid shipping).

Trying to eBay off some other stuff now that's laying around the house collecting dust.  I wish I had done this sooner - it was a lot easier than I thought it would be.  Only problem is someone - probably my maternal unit - had come around and made all the boxes I was saving to use with presents and stuff like this magically disappear.  Which meant trips to Staples to get new boxes.

I was able to sell off one of my old SLR cameras for a little over $110, and another for a little over $225.  Plus I was even able to get rid of my old iHome alarm clock with the 30 pin adapters for $10.
