Got my tax refund today so I decided to spend a little bit of it on a bowling ball of my own.

And I have decided that henceforth it shall be known as Roll Fizzlebeef!

I did see some improvement in scores today when I bowled with it.

Nice... I'm so tired of using a bowling ball that don't feel right in my hand...

How much does a bowling ball cost?

Still think a clear ball with a screaming head inside would be more, ya know- You!

They start out about $65.  I just got the one pictured above - a basic 13 pound ball - for a little over that and after taxes and the fee to have it drilled it was about $72.  And they go up from there, I've seen some that sell for $300.

Yeah aside from the better scores it is also nice that my fingers aren't so sore after games, with the holes drilled to fit my fingers instead of me having to make educated guesses all the time.

Is it just me or does John Goodman look like John Milius?

That's who the Coen brothers partially based the Walter Sobchak character on.
