It feels like I've been here longer.

My profile says November 30, 2005.

My first post is listed as July 15, 2002.

The reality is either late 1998 or early 1999. So my profile is almost old enough to vote or go to court for its bad decisions.
Every dead body that is not exterminated becomes one of them. It gets up and kills. The people it kills, get up and kill.

Oh!  First posts:  November 6, 2002.  Took me a long time to come out of lurkdom, as I recall.

Doesn't seem like almost five years. You guys have been part of some of the most eventful things in my life, and I dig being here.

If it's true what they say, that GOD created us in His image, then why should we not love creating, and why should we not continue to do so, as carefully and ethically as we can, on whatever scale we're capable of?

The choice is simple; refuse to create, and refuse to grow, or build, with care and love.

I always wondered why Universal opted out on using Lugosi's image after they won against Jr.s lawsuit in 1980 of using Bela's image as Dracula and went to a more generic vampire? Odd-being as Lugosi is more popular than ever-his memoriblia outsells Karloff's by a wide margin-and is a big cult figure even among non-horror fans.

LUGOSI's son had a hand in it; stuff then wasn't the same kind of money it'd be now.  These Halloween diecuts are from around 1980, unlicensed, the one looks just like BELA LUGOSI (I think) and the flip of the package has another familiar face, speaking of BORIS

I lurked on this site and its old message board as far back as 1999 though.

When did you join?
I saw today in my profile that I had just had my 9th anniversary: Date Registered:    April 10, 2007, 04:51:30 PM

It seems to be graduation time.  Many of us have moved on, but I'm sure there are lots of members here longer than I've been.

Wow, I was still in college when you joined.
