Did you guys know that someone made a film adaptation of the Chick tract?

I knew it was being made, but I didn't know that they had gotten permission to add content. There are definitely scenes and lines in the trailer that did not come from the Chick tract, and I thought being an exact copy (script wise) was a condition of being allowed to do the adaptation.

Chick tracts are so ignorant,  offensive,  moronic and laughable they make good comedy.

Also in the years since this rebuttal was published things have gotten worse for the chick side.  One of their heroes, Kent hovind, has been convicted and imprisoned for a decade on fraud charges for bilking money from his followers.  More evidence for evolution has been found.

Chick tracts have been banned as hate speech in some countries.
