Martin Landau has died

QuoteMartin Landau, the tall, intense, sometimes mischievously sinister actor best known for his role in the television series "Mission: Impossible" and his Oscar-winning portrayal of Bela Lugosi in the film "Ed Wood," died Saturday in Los Angeles. He was 89.

His death was confirmed by his publicist.

That's a shame.  He was one of the great old school actors.  He really brought Bela back to life in ED WOOD!

Him and Romero on the same weekend? How cruel the Fates are!

To one of my favorites since childhood, rest well, good sir!
I feel more like I do now than I did a while ago.

We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Space 1999 was essential Saturday morning viewing for me as a boy. Thanks for the memories.
