That's how all us crazy folks got here!

I seen ASTRO ZOMBIES on WKZO Channel 41 Kalamazoo Shock Theater.
Even as an 10 year old in 1972 I knew this movie sucked.
After that I would purposly try to see all the s**t movies on the cover of Famous Monsters- like DRACULA VS FRANKENSTEIN and WHATEVER HAPPENED TO COUNT DRACULA?

When I seen it it was in black and white because out TV was black and white.

I think it was THE SWORD AND THE SORCERER that really won me over.

I'm 33.  So, a few things.

MonsterVision with Joe Bob Briggs, used to be on TNT back in the day.  Tons of 'not so good movies.'
MST3K--But, of course.

Also, there was a local station here in Philly, a UHF station of sorts, that showed all kinds of off the wall programming.  Like, mornings and afternoons were syndicated 60s sitcoms, nights might be religious programs.  Weekends were a hodgepodge of WWF programming, bad martial arts films, direct-to-vhs films, and old horror films from the 50s and 60s.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.

I can't stand bad movies, I just like you guys.

That sounds like my kinda channel! When I lived in NYC in 1979-80  I watched Chiller and the Addams Family and Benny Hill-while I was high on angel dust that they usta sprinkle on the pin joints they sold at the corner. "Cheba!" It was called "Cheba!"

I take that back (not the liking you guys part) I used to love watching Elvira's Movie Macabre on Saturday nights when I was little, and her movies stank.

This channel here was great.  I was unemployed for a bit and would just get blasted drunk on the weekend and watch the terrible movies and pro-wrestling.  It'd literally be like, a Bruce Lee film from the 70s, The Fly starring Vincent Price and then an Anna Nicole Smith film and then like, WWF shows at night or whatever  :buggedout:

That sounds like my life in the 80's when I lived at Village Commons in 1987 and just drank and watched USA Network and Head Bangers Ball.

I was also very fond of the more recent movie HATCHET.  To me, it captured everything that was fun about 80's slasher flicks!
