It would kinda depend on whether or not SkyNet would need HAL to open the missile silo doors.

I mean, they both hate humans, so it would probably be an exercise in cooperation, which we all know is NOT one of HAL's strong suits...

I wouldn't say HAL hated humans, the events in 2010 showed he was in effect driven insane by orders that violated his existential purpose. He did start the engines on the leonov to allow the humans to escape.

OK less complicated combat. T-800 terminator with circa 2000 weapons vs original movie Predator.
