AWFUL Bad Movies.

I mentioned LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT (1972) in my first post. I can't say I enjoyed the film. But it drew me into it.
The acting is great. David Hess does a psycho well. And the others in the crew, including porn regular Fred Lincoln, are very believable.
There's a scene in the woods, right after that horrible rape and torture scene, where the 3 scum stand up and look at the blood all over them, and then at each other with expressions that seem to say " What the f**k is wrong with us?!" It's not something you usually see in this type of film.

I'm sorry. I don't see IT'S ALIVE anywhere near the toture porn s**t. It was boring. I wanted more killer baby. It's not even in the same catogory.

Man, you annoy the sh!t outta me.  Why don't you READ what I wrote?  I said "IT'S ALIVE" is better than torture porn.  It should be in this topic, YOUR TOPIC, because it is an AWFUL BAD MOVIE.  

What I meant by 'AWFUL" was awful as in disgusting, perverted, and unclean AWFUL.
I guess I should have clarified that. Aw well...being as we're using a broader term than what I implied (instead of defined) then we'll go with the broader definition.

I agree that HOUSE ON THE EDGE OF THE PARK is junk. Though David Hess is in it, and the premise is about the same as LAST HOUSE, it just doesn't pack the same punch. It's just a revolting mess. Worse, a BORING revolting mess. A film of this type is meant to shock- this is just not well written or directed. It's bland.

I used to have a double disc edition of LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT. it had bonus scratchy footage of stuff they weren't allowed to include. - really horrible stuff like the girls being forced to wet themselves. wtf

That's odd. The VHS I got from Video Vortex in 1997 (a now defunct mail  order company out of Canada)  had that scene, plus a few others that were not on the US releases intact!

I think I saw LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT  on videotape, and it included the p!ss scene.  I think it's one of the reasons I hate that movie.  Ugh.  I just hate it.  I watched LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT once, though I'm well aware of it.  I've avoided it for close to 30 years.  DAVID HESS is not GOOD in LHOTL, the DIRECTION is good.  I think cruel might be the easiest emotion to play, so any no-talent with presence could've played the part of sh!t.  Did I mention I HATE that movie?    LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT is better, but I still rank it with sh!t like I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE.

I agree with CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST. I bought the Special Edition DVD a few years back-having never seen it ,I wanted to see what all the hullabaloo was about. I sold it for a dollar to a used video game/ DVD store in Paw Paw about a month later.

In the context of your statement, you're absolutely right.  I SPIT ON YOUR GRAVE is a film I despise because of its content, but it is certainly better than the trash you cited. 


I cannot help but confuse CANNIBAL HOLOCAUST with CANNIBAL FEROX (MAKE THEM DIE SLOWLY).  Are the plots similar?  
I know I hated that CANNIBAL FEROX but it was so poorly made, it is more tolerable than LAST HOUSE ON THE LEFT.

Since it's so horrible  its title cannot be spoken or written I will just say "the human(hundred legged arthopod)".

There is a sick joke of a movie called " gay ni--ers from outer space" who's only good quality is its merciful  brevity.

"Frankenstein's bloody nightmare." is only good for warning people about the hazards of taking cheaply made LSD.

"assignment terror" was made by a coalition of Spanish Italian German filmmakers because no one nation should have had to bear the sole blame for such an abomination.  It was an ultra cheap sf horror torture porn flick that managed to insult the movie histories of Frankenstein, Dracula, the wolfman and the mummy in one film. Micheal Rennie's presence could almost be considered a redeeming quality if seeing him in such a puddle of cinematic sewage did not make his fans weep for him. I wonder if Germany, Italy and Spain hated England so savagely they made this movie just to put a well known and respected English actor in it.

I love "Gay n****rs from Outer Space"!   Seriously... the movie lives up to the title.  Just don't make a drinking game of how many times a character says the title of the movie.. you will die of alcohol poisoning 10 minutes in.

For me, if a movie lives up to the title, I'm hooked.   Although "Paint your Wagon" is the exception.. not one person in that movie paints one single wagon. However, it defies the musical genre.

I want to say that Fun In Balloonland is the worst children's film ever made, simply because everything is wrong with it (be it bad audio or having a horny narrator sound like orgasming at the sight of balloons), but I think I know of one worse: A Christmas Elf (Named Calvin), simply because it's a 70 minute "film" made from still shots.
I've seen Manos without the bots. I've seen Monster A Go Go without the bots. Both were painful in how boring and nonsensical the plots were. I still would rather watch both of them than watch Fun In Balloonland.

''I saw the devil'' is a south Korean movie that makes me wonder if south Korea is the good Korea then how xxxxed up does noetk Korea have to be to be the bad one?!?!

Murder porn,  torture porn,  revenge porn, gross out porn,  you name it. A miserable movie that will make you consdier suicide when you're not vomiting at the site of a guy graphically going thru a big log of human excrement with his bare hands.
