Do you eat breakfast? Or go straight for a cigarette?

When I was working, I got up at 6:00 every morning no matter how much I drank the night before.
Now- that I'm retired- I wake up earlier. In fact-if I go to sleep at 10- I'll wake up at 2:30.
I eat breakfast in the winter. A couple eggs, toast, coffee. I don't in the summer. I wake up with cigarettes and black coffee.

When I was a kid, I was the only one of the four of us "kids" who would eat breakfast, Mommy left me taylor ham cooked, and a pot of hot chocolate...  By the '80s I got out of the habit.  I am not inclined to eat when I awake.  However, if I have fresh coffee (or microwaved leftover) I put two heaping teaspoons sugar and half&half, two cups, "light and sweet...light and sweet".  If I take the coffee, I won't eat again for hours.

I cook Tiana breakfast when she gets home at about 6:30 in the morning. Usually fried eggs and sausage and toast-fried potatoes if she want's them. I love to cook.
I usta also get up early because I had to scramble eggs and make toast for Jed and Eddie before I walked them to the bus stop-then I walked to work. There, Santo, my foreman, usually had a big plate of eggs and beans and pork all swimming in hot tomato and habenaro salsa.

You put it in some flat bread. Oh my god. The best food I ever ate.

I wake up at about 4 am usually, get ready for the day, have cereal and two cups of coffee, then go to work. Weekends I sleep late and go to Wimpy for a good breakfast or as my special niece and nephew call it "my brains on toast"

What is this "morning" thing you speak of? It sounds dreadful....

It's actually now my favorite time of day. I can sit outside or open the window (which is about 4 feet behind me right now in the computer room) and Sasha, my cat, jumps up on the stool.) and we listen to all the morning birds. About 5:30 in the morning. It's nice.
I'm old- I like nice.

I like to get up around 6 am and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet. Gives me enough time to get ready for work as well as a bit of time to myself (ok, less time now between the demands of the cat and Ash). Often I find this the best part of the day when I can just relax. I've tried lying in bed longer, but I feel like I've wasted the day. I don't often have breakfast though until after I am at work as I don't generally feel hungry until sometime between 8 and 9.

My normal work day I get up at 11AM.  Shower, bowl of cereal, then to the easy chair to do internet for an hour and a half, maybe let the dog out if she didn't wake me up earlier.
On the weekends I get up whenever I feel like it-- but still often 11 since there's usually something I need to get done (mow, paint something, shop for groceries, drain/clean hot tub, etc.).

During the school year, I am usually out of bed by 6 AM.
Summers, I often sleep till 8 or 9 - but our sleep schedule is weird because someone has to stay up all night with my mother-in-law every night to help her get up to use the restroom.  I take a couple of those nights a week.  Then I go to bed around 4 or 5 AM and sleep till 11 or 12.

If I'd gotten up during the morning, I may not have missed the gun show today....

Honestly, some days I wish I had a job just so I'd be in the habit of getting up during normal banking hours...

10:22 am. I went to sleep at 10:45 last night after getting up at 5am the previous two days for work.
yeah no.

7:45 on weekdays, whenever on weekends. No breakfast---just a pot of coffee, brewed immediately, first thing.

in the summer i do all of my catering and home cooking at night, so i get up around 1pm after crashing around 4am. in winter, i crash around midnight, up at 7am and cook during the day.
spring and fall are usually wedding seasons, my hours are across the boards hen, depends on my cakemaking BFF's schedule. i have to schedule oven time.
i'm also one who gets up to coffee, juice and cigarettes, i can't eat for at least 4 hours. curtis makes himself a big breakfast on saturdays, and we have breakfast for supper at least once a week.

Before surgery it was still around 7:00am but I was tired for most of the day then, then 10 to 11am on weekends.  And I was still tired most of the time.

Ever since surgery usually around 7:00am on work days, and around 8:00am on non working days.  Sometimes a bit later on non work days.  I sleep a lot better ever since getting surgery since I'm not having to get up to drain the little buddy three times a night.  My brain is making up for lost time by providing all manner of weird dreams.
God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.
