I saw that thread with Sven where he got harshly criticized but I don't really see a lot of cruelty going on in this forum.
I don't even see THAT thread. It's been buried by new ones.

What I wish is we'd go back to a time when people here were friendly, if not always friends. In some cases the word "family" was applied. It was nice. Fighting is pointless and....just pointless.

Truly, I did. I was going around at the fundraiser with my friend and we came to this roulette wheel on which you could win prizes, so I bought twelve spins for ten dollars and said to her, "This is for someone named Sven." Then as I made the first spin it came to me that since I'd dedicated these tickets to Sven, if I won a prize I was going to have to come here and ask for a mailing address to send it off to Sven, but I didn't win anything. (Jews were winning right and left; wonder if it was rigged against goyim?)

So anyway, whatever you may think of me, Sven, you inspired an act of charity that in some small way may better the lives of Israeli children who live along the West Bank, surrounded by Orc-like people intent on taking their land and driving them into the sea. I hope you take my gesture in the spirit of good will in which I intended it.

Ah. Okay. I read the karma information on a few specific users and I'm starting to see what you're talking about.
There's a lot of stuff that somehow goes on under my nose.
Yeah, I find drama to be pretty unpleasant all around so I can't blame you for this thread.
