I expect to die any day now.
I'm not trying to talk about this is a BAD way. We all die. It's a fact. But a person kinda know when they are gonna die. I give myself 2 years, max.
That's OK. I ain't scared, I just know I'm in bad health and have bad habits. I ain't gonna live long.

I'm drinking like a fish and smoking like a stove pipe. Im going out in style.

Already made it past expectations. Around the third time I was stabbed I figured I was never going to make it out the town I grew up in alive.  Since I now have a young child to look after I guess I have to stick around for a while. Kristi has told me that I am not allowed to die before her.

I nearly committed suicide in 2008 after Dad passed on: two months after that, my special sister and her husband adopted a child. When this little girl was put in my arms, I said that I needed to be here for her and ten years later, I'm still here.

When I was younger, I took better care of myself. Got a lot of exercise and avoided junk food. As I got older, things started to unravel. I gained weight, found out I have type 2 diabetes, and then had a heart attack. After the heart attack, I turned things around. I started exercising again, lost weight and started eating healthier. I did that for a few years, but now I'm back to my bad habits. So, if I die young it will be my own fault.

I don't know. I've been having some suicidal thoughts, but not as bad as when I first said it a couple of months ago.
yeah no.

I have always been ridiculously healthy - 54 years old and I have never had a major illness or surgery.
But I also have eaten a ridiculous amount of junk food over the years and put on a good deal of weight.
Logically speaking, I figure I will chug along till 75 or so and then keel over with a massive coronary.
And I am OK with that.

I'm hoping to be around as long as 3 out of 4 of my grandparents, which was right about 90.  If not more.  I think the spare tire plus complete set of tires removal surgery I had last year helped with my life expectancy - I don't think it would have been that long if I hadn't had the surgery.

God of making the characteristic which becomes dirty sends the hurricane.

If I don't die violently, I will survive every person here and everyone I know in my generation, dying among strangers, an anachronism who lives in yesteryear, that place I've always resided, destined in my final years to be guilty of those most painful of twin offenses: outlasting my era and outliving my usefulness.
What does not kill me makes me stranger.

And then you die next week.

What, just because everybody else dies you think you have to too?  I suppose if everyone was jumping off a bridge you'd do that too.

I, for one, have never felt the need to go along with the crowd.

I plan on living forever.

Do you really want to?

Living forever:

You'd have to watch your friends go, but you'd get to make new friends.

You'd see all the bad things for hundreds of years, but you'd see the good too.

Eventually, it might all feel the same, just a blur of events which have happened before in a slightly different form.
