My Great Grandpa was Christopher Merchant. He came to the US in the early 1900's. He was a silversmith. He lived out in Vermont-and moved to Michigan.
My Grandpa Merchant left his wife, 4 sons and 3 daughters and a grandson and moved up north with an Indian women. Just before I was born.
And my Dad...who married a crazy NYC woman while he was in the Navy-and Ta Da! Here I am!

Since we got married Kristi has been working on my family tree (mum's side only, I told her I do not want my dad's side). So far she has worked out around 2400 relatives and ancestors.
