$100 for a kettle?

This kettle - nothing special - is priced at ZAR1000: that is approximately $100.



At that price, you would expect the kettle to make its' own water and provide its' own power.

Eish: they cannot be serious.  :buggedout:

Maybe it's because I'm American and don't drink much tea.  I always get interested in these fancy kettles.  I had no idea these things existed, you can plug them in and water gets hot in about 30 seconds!  That's amazing.  If I want to have tea I need to put water in my kettle, then put the kettle on the stove and wait about 5 minutes for it to get hot.
