I've been quite ill

Recovered now, though so no worries.

After I got back from a film festival last month, I woke up a few days later to find my face was drooping and my right eye was also inflamed and sore. My speech was also affected. I thought I had had a stroke - although I was feeling OK - and got to the ER. Doc checked me out and said I had Bell's Palsy and would be fine in a few days.

The only scary thing was that I had to pay out over ZAR1000 just for admission and my meds: the one set of pills looked like suppositories.  I'm wondering why I had to pay so much when I have medical cover? Strange.

Feeling better now but that scared the crap out of me.
