Being able to tape a show whenever I wanted and take it with me to a friends house or anywhere else.

The days when you could apply  for a job without signing away your privacy,  constitutional rights and  right to seek legal remedy if the employer wronged  or harmed you.

Not having to press a button for english.

Being able to call a company and get someone I could understand.

A long list of relatives, friends, loved-ones, and many co-workers, lost to death, and still others lost to time. Age, accident, war, life's onward rush, it all swallows so much and so many. Wait long enough and it will take everything from you.

Yeah, somebody started saying they tipped over, but Jeeps were actually worse about that at the time, and the SUVs that followed the demise of the Samurai couldn't stay out of the news....

I kinda miss the concept of an econobox with four wheel drive & all kinds of factory options...

Having the kind of car that didn't automatically unlock ALL the doors whenever I got in or out of it. (Makes me nervous in some parts of town.)
