Might do this route tomorrow.

It's 26 miles one way so it'd be 52 miles total. Of course there will be a BEER pit stop.

Did that monster 52 mile ride today.

I got to the trail head and left a little before 10:00am. Of course there was the brewery pit stop in the middle - I got there just after noon. Stayed there about an hour and got back to Dubuque at 4:20.

When I do that again I think I'll try to leave a little bit earlier in the morning - hour or two earlier - so I can get back a bit earlier in the afternoon.

This amount of cycling is beyond impressive. You had weight loss surgery not long ago as I recall, right? Congratulations on this personal transformation, you're really amazing, and I enjoy these videos too.

Had the surgery just about two years and two months ago.

I'm not too hard core about it. Yeah I laid out some extra green to get a bike with electric assist but it opened up so much territory around here to explore. I still get a workout when riding the bike. Hills that were too steep to try before are manageable now.
