If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

It was 100 years old this year.  A film to look at for depictions of female abuse or child abuse.  Also interesting for its racism, contrite and repentant as it is.  Still an important film 100 years on.

The CABINET OF DR. CALIGARI (1919) is also 100 years old this year!
I have yet to see BROKEN BLOSSOMS- but it seems fascinating. The Gish sisters were bonafide movie stars at this time. And they deserve it.
I don't have TCM anymore. (Heavy sigh  :bluesad:)
Supernatural?...perhaps. Baloney?...Perhaps not!" Bela Lugosi-the BLACK CAT (1934)
Interviewer-"Does Dracula ever end for you?
Lugosi-"No. Dracula-never ends."
