This was... really good! No reliance on jump scares, just suspense that never stops building until the end. This was solidly written, acted, and directed. A little suspension of disbelief for the premise, and everything else falls into place.

There are three great remakes of 1950s Science Fiction that immediately come to mind: 

THE THING  (1982)
INVADERS FROM MARS  (1986- underrated)
INVASION OF THE BODY SNATCHERS Excellent version; superior.   :thumbup:
If you want to view paradise . . . simply look around and view it!

Yes, it was very good. I saw it maybe a year ago for the first time. I enjoyed Sutherland's performance towards the end especially.

The Blob (1988) is another good one.
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
