Four Truths And A Lie

Remember this? You tell five things and four are true and one isn't. Someone guesses and then adds to it. (Adding a topic on the Games thread is like throwing a message in a bottle into the ocean, so I put it here.)

Why, yes I am killing time before joining my family at my in-laws house, how'd you guess?

1. On an Air Force base during a time of celebration I jumped on a bed with a tipsy officer, who fell off and grabbed my hand as he spilled over, pulling me along, and I landed knee down on his chest and skittered across the room into two others, never quite falling but not regaining my balance til I hit the wall opposite.

2. At someone's wedding this strange bridesmaid kept lifting my arm to smell the Secret Powder scent deodorant I had on, claiming she'd never smelled that before and it was, "So nice."

3. I actually have met a lawyer named Steve Dallas, just like in the Bloom County strips.

4. I own a reproduction wall tapestry of the Shroud of Turin.

5. In my life at various times I have nearly died from blood loss, a doctor-induced heart attack, an oncoming car, and armed hostiles.

Anyone?

4. is the lie.

Steve Dallas is or was a lawyer in the seat of the county where we lived for three years of my childhood.

I knew you went to see the Shroud a couple years ago, and I thought maybe you'd brought home a souvenir.
But I figured it was either 3 or that one.

You puzzled me a second, I was thinking, I saw the Shroud of Turin...? But I've never been to Italy. LOL I know what you're talking about now. In 2016  my mom and Diz went to Alabama to see a reproduction at Mother Angelica's shrine. I didn't go though.

I was gonna wait for more people to respond but it's been quite a while.

No, number one is not the lie. It's number three.

I had awful taste as a kid but even I could see how trash that movie was.

Nah. It's 5. I never killed much in the woods except bottles.
I usta go hunting a lot...but the only thing I ever shot was a rabbit. I ate it, too. I was in an old car junkyard when I did it. I usually shot at stupid s**t. I shot at a BIG gray paper wasp nest with a 12 gauge. Not smart. I shot a lot of old cans and bottles. I shot at cars in the junkyard. I DID shoot a possum who was chasing a goose in my landlords yard.
