Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure had two spin-offs, one animated and the other live action. While the former is fondly remembered by some (and had the advantage of the main characters being voiced by Winter, Reeves, and Carlin), the latter is reviled and only lasted seven episodes.
definitely remember there being a cartoon although I never really watched it. had no idea there was a live action series. if reeves and winter weren't involved then what were the makers even thinking...

FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES? I never seen even 1 episode. But it was on from '88 until '90...?

FRIDAY THE 13TH also had a tv spin off series but it had nothing to do with the films. in fact I think it was even called something else in England

There was a short lived TV version of "Logan's Run" that ran for about one season,  starring Gregory Harrison as Logan and Heather Menzies (of "Sound of Music" and "Piranha" fame) as Jessica.

nice, had no idea about that. looked on wikipedia, they were planning to make toys based on it, but that idea got cancelled when the series did, lol

Ferris Bueller and Uncle Buck both managed to get Tv series.  I've never watched either of them but nothing I hear about them is good.

wtf...

I didn't know that one existed.

That means somehow Uncle Buck has managed to get TWO short lived TV series based on it.

This is the one I meant.

haha...that looks more like what I'd imagined

NB: just to clarify, there is nothing inherently 'wrong' with an all black cast members UNCLE BUCK tv show

Speaking of lack of rated R atmosphere, in 1973 there was a series of Shaft TV movies on CBS.

BLUE THUNDER (1984) had a TV show in 1985, that lasted 4 months.
