World Wrestling Entertainment announced that actor/comedian Andy Kaufman will be inducted into their professional wrestling hall of fame over WrestleMania weekend.

Andy had a brief, remarkable run in the wrestling business, culminating with a feud against Jerry The King Lawler. Notably appeared on the David Letterman show, where Lawler slapped Andy so hard he fell out of a chair.  :bouncegiggle:

I never expected to see him as a hall of fame-er.  I don't object or anything.  He was quite memorable.
