I think it is interesting that most people I know who have seen Once Upon a Time in... Hollywood didn't even know who Manson is. His "shock value" relevance is certainly fading. At least with this generation.

^ Even in the late 70's folks would comment that it looked like it was from a 1950's comic book. Which is the kind of art I enjoyed the most- and still do.
