I could kill for some biscuits, sausage gravy, eggs, bacon and home fries right now.

 ^There's a tiny diner here in Lawton- the Vineyard Cafe- it's been in Lawton as long as I can remember, that just does breakfast for all the farmers around here, that makes the best biscuits in gravy in the county. Don't order a full plate unless you wanna take some home! With hot black coffee! And the home fries are smothered in fried onions! A bottle of hot sauce on every table!

My dad used to make a killer sausage gravy and buttermilk biscuits from scratch every saturday and sunday. His secret ingredient for the gravy was a bit of black coffee straight from the cup! He said that's how his family been doing it for generations. He was born and raised in Louisiana.
