Look more closely. He's not just tickling him, he's flaying the skin from his foot.  Buggedout

I have no idea what these are about (they seem to be medieval Russian) but you can find a whole series of killer bunny torture porn on the Internet.

^  Why is that sadistic rabbit wearing a belt? Or is it a strap on dick? Did he just ass f**k this sorry soul before he chopped his head off? This mystery just gets more disturbing.
There must be some kind of...history behind all this rabbit revenge thing. It's just going down this strange...(coff coff) rabbit hole.

Medieval artwork also had a thing for giant snails.

Here you go: https://www.openculture.com/2019/03/killer-rabbits-in-medieval-manuscripts-why-so-many-drawings-in-the-margins-depict-bunnies-going-bad.html

Article also mentions the snails Alex brings up.

^The author of this article says they couldn't remember why the barber with a wooden leg was funny...^
^It could have something to do with something I once saw on PBS... From the way I recall it, up until about 200 year ago, barbers also engaged in dentistry, surgery & bloodletting (hence, the emblematic red striped pole, originally a rag with blood on it).^

It probably has something to do with it, but I'm still not sure why that would be funny. Is a doctor with a wooden leg funny? Question I guess if you don't have "The Onion" to read, you gotta laugh at something.

I couldn't find any medieval images of a barber with a wooden leg, but I did find this. What's going on there?

^I'm assuming that's a doctor or a medical researcher studying a cadaver....  Same PBS episode....^

^Mmmm, come to think of it, maybe a couple different PBS shows about medical research in medieval Italy and in early 19th century London, not to mention, every Frankenstein movie staring Peter Cushing...^
