I don't think pot smells bad, but I don't like randomly smelling it in public, either. I don't think that was the kind of foulness N.R. de Mexico was referring to, though.

I don't think there is a "marihuana free State". Where it's illegel-sure. But no doubt someones smoking pot somewhere.

For trafficking, not just possession. Possession is up to 10 years in prison, but I'd bet that maximum sentence is rarely imposed. Still, don't light up if you're in Singapore.
