Joe Pesci: just not funny.

His performance in LETHAL WEAPON II definitely helped his career. He was hilarious in MY COUSIN VINNY. On the other hand, he was horrible in stuff like THE SUPER and 8 HEADS IN A DUFFEL BAG
"Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone."

Let's not forget Rob Schneider, who is unwatchable.

Lethal Weapon 2 is the main reason for me not liking him at all: that anti-South African POS film was a box-office hit here in 1989, Lord knows why.
We shall meet in the place where there is no darkness.

Ted C

Ben Stiller

Movies (Mystery Men) are watchable in spite of him, not because of him.

I'm surprised it took that long

I watched SPY twice in a row.  I thought it was hilarious.

can't say i'm a huge fan but I thought he was pretty much perfect (for his role) in MEET THE PARENTS. the sequels were dire though.

Jonah Hill

At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

I have to disagree with virtually everyone here.  I like most of the actors named (Stiller, Vaughn, Ferrell, Rogan, et al.)

Granted, I hit my early-mid 20s in the early 2000's when the "Frat Pack" was big (Ferrell, Vaughn and them, like Jack Black and Steve Carell.)  Loved Anchorman, 40 Year Old Virgin, Pineapple Express, etc.

I was a teen when Carrey and Sandler were huge in the 90s.

I can see how they'd grate on some people though.

One's I don't like: Leslie Jones, Melissa McCarthy, Jerry Lewis.

For me, Will Ferrell tries too hard. He starts out over the top.. leaving him no room to maneuver comedicaly speaking.
Adam Sandler.. also tries too hard.
Seth Rogan... meh
Leslie Jones... not funny one bit at all. (however, Melissa McCarthy *can* be funny if given the right material and direction - but she's only had glimpses of it. IMHO)
Jim Carrey.. also tries too hard.  Sometimes he can learn to pull back and give himself breathing room for a buildup and THEN the laugh..but not often enough.

As for "classic" comedians:
I never saw the allure to Jimmy Durante what so ever.
Don Rickles just insults everyone.. that joke gets old real quick. Heck, he had a very short lived Sit com: "CPO Sharky"  I think it lasted half a season.

Gabriel Knight

Adam Sandler: repetitive and tiresome, some of his earlier works were okay but he plays the same exact role in every single one of them. LITTLE NICKY and WATERBOY, are some examples of good roles but with the same archetype of character.
Jack Black: it's nothing more than a fatter Adam Sandler. He even uses the same t-shirts. The only movie I like is SHALLOW HAL but because of the script and not his participation.
Will Ferrell: the definition of an unfunny man. His only good part was in ZOOLANDER.

I can't really come up with another one right now, but those are major offenders to me.

Rev. Powell

Sandler. Though he was great in a dramatic role in UNCUT GEMS. His comedy is nails-on-a-chalkboard to me.

Melissa McCarthy is hilarious when she has good material (BRIDESMAIDS, SPY) and terrible when she has bad material (LIFE OF THE PARTY, THE HAPPYTIME MURDERS).
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
