Four Boxes (2009) - This is one of those misfit toys that was bound to end up on Tubi, yet is a better and more interesting than most of the stuff coming from Netflix or Hollywood for that matter. Also, there was as egregious a screw up as I think I've ever seen in a movie, where someone just blatantly walks on and off screen at one point.

Two weirdos who go to dead peoples houses and sell their belongings on ebay or something hole up in a new house. For entertainment, they watch Four Boxes, a early internet / dark web style "show" where someone has cameras in their house and doesn't know it. Amidst all this, there is a love triangle between the two guys and the one guy's girlfriend, who used to be the other guy's girlfriend. As annoying as the girl is, she makes the whole thing work.

The ending ... put me down as not a fan. Too clever. after I watched this, I went to bed and had a dream that was sort of like the movie!

4.45 /5 just lop off the last 5 minutes. very engaging otherwise
