The Dresden Dolls, who have some good songs, but Amanda Palmer has a toneless voice that comes off as flat, and most of the group's output sounds alike, track by track. Still...I do enjoy them in moderation and on occasion. Lately I been playing them while I drive.

Their one song I do actually enjoy almost anytime:

It links to their whole album The Great Society with Grace Slick  Conspicuous Only In Its Absence - I had it on vinyl.  Memories.  Listening now.

In just the right mood I have been known to listen to this particular recording many times in a row.

I am in the right mood tonight.

Honestly, is there a better crescendo in all of ballet?

For jazz nerds, this is Miles Davis' Second Great Quintet from before they had recorded an album. They do mostly standards (plus Miles' "All Blues" and the seldom-played "Joshua.") Most likely they are still feeling each other out at this point. From Free Jazz Lounge: https://livejazzlounge.com/concert/2022/03/12/miles-davis-quintet-milano-italy-october-1964/

Very chilling if you remember the movie. "Society waits for you...."
I'll take you places the hand of man has not yet set foot...
