^^ was just listening to some of his solo albums the other day...HOTEL SHAMPOO is my fav. was also a big fan of his band SUPER FURRY ANIMALS back in the day

(I'm assuming you like it? It seems you sometimes post stuff you're not into so much)

This is my first listen through it, and I do like it so far. I'll continue listening to it throughout the week. I'm not familiar with his previous stuff (the name Super Furry Animals sound familiar, but I can't place them).

cool, I'll check it out as well...

SUPER FURRY ANIMALS was formed (and named) by the welsh actor Rhys Ifans who went on to star in some pretty big films including a HARRY POTTER, but he left before they released anything afaik
Quotethe movie was cringe, corny, cheesy and "what the biscuits" is with this atrocious acting and childish corny thing of a movie???

This is an odd concept album, folk music with drum machines. The music can be catchy and there is an overarching story about a spiritual quest.

I've been reading Geddy Lee's autobiography My Effin' Life this week, so I've been hitting the Rush catalog pretty hard, esp. the first three albums (Rush, Fly By Night, and Caress of Steel).

Weezer- Just a lot of their discogrophy. Or however it is spelled.

Don't get too close, it's dark inside.
It's where my demons hide, it's where my demons hide.

Honestly, a lot of silence lately. I been seeking out quiet.

Sort of New Age/ambient, but too busy and off-center to really fit there. Basically experimental music. I like.

"Walls Have Ears" by Sonic Youth. Live performances from 1985. Better than most punk music.
