A man who as a college intern in the '00s worked at the art glass studio with my mom passed away in May and it made me dig out the CD of his keyboard music he gave me at the time. He called his compositions tone poems, they're usually under a couple minutes and are reminiscent of '80s Japanese space music.  I've been playing that CD a lot just lately.
