I finally got it.  :bluesad: Minor symptoms only: mainly sort throat/cough. I'm fully vaccinated so it shouldn't be too bad. Very concerned about the likelihood of passing it on to my mother, though, who's not in the best shape.

Hope it remains mild for you.

We're all hoping the best for her.

I have an insomnia hangover from Covid still

Rev. Powell

I had about 2.5 days of mild symptoms, led by fatigue---I didn't feel that bad except that I just did not want to move or do ANYTHING. Mom took that new antiviral drug and she was fine after a day. Of course she didn't even remember she was sick the next day, which probably helped her! Glad I was vaccinated; I would not want that hitting without antibodies already in stock.

Insomnia was not a feature of my illness, I slept 10 hours most nights.

On that note, I also finally got it.  Around a week ago.  At first I thought I had a cold but decided to test, ended up positive.  The single biggest symptom for me was about 2-3 days of serious fatigue.  Also a lot of body aches, coughs, my sinuses felt sort of raw, and just generally feeling kinda bad.  Lost most of my sense of smell, which I guess can take weeks to months to return.  I still have more mild symptoms now.  My wife also got it, hit her a bit harder, but she's also on the mend.  I am vaxxed and boosted.  My mother (in her mid 70s) was visiting the day I started symptoms, but thankfully she tested negative.  I think I'll be back to work on Monday.

i got it in October and it was so mild i felt a bit off which is why i ended up staying home from work and that was about it.  anyone see they are saying covid is over? even though people are still getting it even though it's not as bad as it was before. it's now being treated like a flu i think which is stupid i think
