the 2020 Census

Did you get a paper in the mail yet for the 2020 census?
They just don't want your name...they want your race too. And not just 'white, black, hispanic or other'. For example, I checked 'white'- but you have to identify your linage- ie- 'German, Irish, - blahblahblah ' sh!t. Same for black- African American, Ethopian, etc. WTF do they care? Oh-and they want to really dig into Hispanic origins.
Why is this information needed?

Eh, some weirdos (such as myself), don't identify by the color of their skin or simply the continent of their origin, they have to throw in their tribal lineage.......

Until I find out George Washington had a kid, I'll just stick with being Irish.....

There must be plenty of people out there who simply don't know or care about their make-up. Wonder what they've to put in?

Not sure when the next UK census is. I know I've not been counted on at least the last two, possibly more. Technically that is a criminal offence, however since they've not sent me the paperwork to fill in, I am completely comfortable with it. Its really going to bake some descendants noodle when they are tracing their family and I suddenly disappear from the records for a couple of decades.

This is the first year I filled it out. I put 'Norwegian' for linage. I know my great grandpa came from Norway. That's all I know. But if I put Nigeria or Siberia or what ever- how would they know I'm not lying?

From what I remember all that is legally required is the number of people that live at the residence.  Fill that out and leave the rest.  They want the rest for various reports.  A lot of it gets mined to determine ethnicity, income, etc for certain areas.  The less people can data mine about me the better I feel.

no mail in form? no envelope? forced to a website? not gonna happen. they can send someone to my house who will be shown our 2 white bodies, and then the door will close. period.
