^ thats pretty good

I wake up at like noon everyday, do a few uber rides. I'm not making much money, normally I can do like 25 -30 dollars an hour riding yuppies around Boston but its much much less now. doing it more out of habit than anything.

^ Desperate times call for desperate measures!  :twirl: I was out of papers and couldn't find my pipe.
Tiana found this 3 years ago digging to plant flowers on the side of the house.
I used blue pipe tape on top- there's a split. It could be used as a carbarator- but I taped over it to make the fat section of the pipe be a chamber. The faucet handle on the bottom works. You can narrow the intake of smoke- like a rifle- or just shotgun it . I generally shotgun, myself. I'm going to improve on it. I'll get some muffler repair, and seal the cracks. I'll get some metal screen to replace the piece of tinfoil I have in the bowl poked with a sewing pin.

I'm working on my transcription project - newsreels - as well as my book.

I'm actually feeling a little like Matt Dillon in Wayward Pines when he asks Terrence Howard "How do I get out of here?" and Terence replies "You don't."  :buggedout: :buggedout:

Lately, I washed and waxed my car. Then (pre full lockdown) it rained like muddy sludge, so I had to wash the car again.

Been catching up on pending projects, looking into new clients that can operate within economic lockdown, and finding the time to exercise, clean up the garden, sort out the garage... Oh wait, those are the things I've been doing to put off doing work, hahaha.

Yesterday, I cut down two privets that I cut down last year.

This year, I'm trying stump killer.

Today, I need to chop up an awful lot of debris........

cerb, if all else fails, drill a hole in the stump and dump in red devil lye. that was what it took to finally kill the lilacs at my dad's house.

TNX 4 the tip!

I drilled holes in them yesterday before using the stump killer...

I spent most of today trying to cut up the branches small enough to fit into a couple lawn & leaf bags, but I still have a ways to go, & discovered a few more stumps in the process....

Gave myself a quarantine haircut too.  Shaved it all off.  That way it'll be a couple months before it's ready again and by then hopefully I can get a regular haircut.

you're very welcome! all of us kids had SERIOUS allergies with the lilacs, so did my momma, and he cut them down for like 5 year after they bought the house, and they grew up BIGGER every year. he got so disgusted that he figured he'd try the lye, and it worked, they never grew back.
it worked on the yew hedge at my grampa's house in kansas too, and the invasive red cedar.

Do you guys have any advice for burrs?  They're all over my yard and my big goofy dog keeps getting covered in them.  We've been trying to tear them out for years but I think we're just pruning them and making them stronger.

As for what I'm doing to stay sane?  Trying to think ahead of the things I will tell myself "I wish I did that during the pandemic!".  So we're trying to work on our bathroom but I've realized there are no nice & affordable bathtubs that fit in a 58" x 33" space.  I'm also fortunate enough to be locked up with a family and dogs that never give me a break.
