Delia's Gone, by Mr. Johnny Cash. I always expected something like this to happen to me one day.

Blackstar, David Bowie’s last video, made by a man staring into the abyss with no safety net.

Back To Black, by Amy Winehouse, the most talented vocalist in Britain in the 2000s, one of the all-time best soul singers ever. Such a loss. (And why'd they censor her line "....kept his dick wet?" It's an insult to artists to censor their work. Jeez, grow up, YouTube.)

A Letter to Elise, by The Cure, another favorite from my life, circa 1993, when for most of the year The Cure were my go-to band. Considering Robert Smith wrote it, this is actually a bright song, don’t you think? He was so trim back then, not the 300-pound beer-bloated monster he is now.

Kiss Me, by Sixpence None The Richer. I think this is one of the prettiest songs of the late-90s. I iisten to this song and I think how can there possibly be evil sharing a world with sounds that are so lovely? (Karma to anyone who knows the origins of this band's name....)

One of the few 1990's songs I genuinely adore!

The Black Parade, by My Chemical Romance. I had never known of this band til I heard this song in the 2000s, and instantly was swept into their orbit. Great video, great song. Very dark, crazed. Not for the faint of spirit.

Champagne Supernova, by Oasis. A truly beautiful song performed by two brothers who at the height of their fame came to revile one another.

Ordinary World, by Duran Duran. The first time I was ever stoned, and that from a contact buzz, I kept re-watching this video. I mean like easily eight times in a row. It was transformed into the most lovely, the most amazing, the most captivating thing in the entire universe I could imagine looking at.
