Red Sonja (1985) was another Morricone movie I watched as a kid. And I loved a particular Morricone soundtrack, but didn't know it was one of his until years and years later. As a kid in the 80s, I was fascinated with a Hong Kong action movie called The Secret Rivals (1976), and little did I know that the main theme was actually from The Big Gundown (1966).
His soundtrack for The Mission (1986) is just soooooo good. I saw this as part of a school excursion for History.
I had no idea he did the soundtrack for Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down (1990), the movie I saw on my first date with my first girlfriend.
