Interesting question. Buddy of mine wants to join The Satanic Temple and apparently one of its seven tenets is the right to free expression includes the right to offend. I "think" I agree there. My patron saint Joan Rivers would probably say she'd agree with that, so....she's my barometer.


I do think it's best to be tactful in life though sometimes I get mad, go after people, beat down the desire to challenge others to first blood duels, that sort of thing. I'm actually very nice.

Second thought, it'd be wrong to take something from you when you have so little. You're an impoverished addict in poor health, and while I don't dislike you Ronny, I have often felt sorry for you, and that's why if you look back you'd see more than not I've taken up for you and been nice to you. (I said more often than not, John. ;-) ) Typically you've failed to see when I was backing you, not just now, not the time I was the only person here to say I believed your story about New York, when strangely you attacked me for my support. You're an odd fella, Merchant, tragic, interesting, self-crippling, but you're what you are and you're unique.

Anyway I'll be going home in a few days and won't have the time to kill posting here, so I hope you're alive when and if  I return here, RC, and I hope your heart will handle November.

Also I think you and John would make a good couple.

You write that to be annoying; and because you find both of US annoying.  Nonetheless, Ron and I would kill each other.  These days, we just fight and not with civility.  Actually, perhaps you are being obtuse.  I believe evidence should speak for itself and I avoid explanations.  You are, however, not the only one who might take up a cause.
