Why do the bad guys not just gang-rush Bruce Lee and beat him horizontal when fighting him one on one clearly wasn't working? He did make funny sounds though and great expressions. Slightly more plot than most adult films but still just a daft movie.

Well, I guess with the title "Enter the Dragon" it could be.  :bouncegiggle:

I love this movie, all Bruce Lee movies are the best!

It's my favorite Bruce Lee movie because it's not just the stagey sets. I don't know why in this and all other martial sets movies they don't just rush the guy

Imagine trying to choreograph the fight.

^ Bruce Lee did all the choreographing.

He's a legend.

The CHINESE CONNECTION (actually FISTS OF FURY) (1972)  is a fantastic film.
The names got switched here in America somehow.
Don't matter! Both are great films.

It actually looks like that in the movie! For a couple of seconds-just before he smacks Robert Baker in the yap!
Same guy who he stomped in ENTER THE DRAGON (1973)

Oh-ER...it's ENTER THE DRAGON. What do you expect? It's a kung fu movie! It's not a deep movie!

Imo all his films are PERFECT
but Return of the Dragon (The Way of the Dragon) (1974) is my my all time favorite Bruce Lee film

If some of the stuff I've heard about Bruce Lee is even remotely true, he could still take them all at once.
At least, that's what Gary Busey told me...

Weird trivia: this film was banned in SA under the old censorship laws.

Bruce Lee is my hero!

It was the only one of his that Bruce Lee directed himself, aside from the 40+ minutes of his unfinished movie before he died, parts of which were inserted into Game Of Death (1978). Enter The Dragon had the best production but Way Of The Dragon (1972) is clearly the better film because Bruce Lee was wise enough to put a large amount of humor into the movie; something that his other movies were lacking. I still believe that injecting humor into kung fu movies showed Jackie Chan how effective that comedy was in the martial arts movie genre and we have Bruce Lee to thank for having the guts to introduce that.

EDIT: There is a discrepancy with Way Of The Dragon which was released in Asia in 1972, but released in the U.S. as Return Of The Dragon in 1974, after Bruce Lee's death in 1973 right before Enter The Dragon was released. Hence, the "Return..." in the title of the U.S. release.
First rule is, 'The laws of Germany'
Second rule is, 'Be nice to mommy'
Third rule is, 'Don't talk to commies'
Fourth rule is, 'Eat kosher salamis'

Its like why the whole Storm Area 51 event didn't work.  Sure, they couldn't stop all of them-but they could stop a few. and nobody was willing to be those few.  Or maybe they thought they would wear him down with a war of attrition.
