That's just how chainsawmidget wanted the list to be: "This time we're dealing with the beasts of bad movies.  They can be real animals or fictional animals, but they have to be animals.  If it's something like a Wolfman or a Gill-man, then it's too much Man for this list." Obviously we're just having fun and there's no enforcement.
