And now, the rural Pennsylvania home where Buffalo Bill mangled his victims is up for sale again just in time for Halloween. The three-story, four-bedroom house is situated in Perry Township Fay, PA, reported WTAE. It also has a swimming pool in the back and a detached three-car garage.

Needless to say, The Silence of the Lambs house has attracted a lot of attention but not a single buyer. Sitting on 1.7 acres along the Yough River, the house had two previous owners. Now it could be yours for just $298,500. Situated on Circle Street, the house was constructed in 1910 and it sits next to land previously owned by none other than George Washington. So why is the house having a hard time getting buyers?

Well, the real reason behind it is the location. In a conversation with NBC, Dianne Wilk of RE/MAX Select Realty said, "When it first went on the market, I got calls from across the country. But how many people are going to relocate to Layton because of a home? The thing is, it's a lovely, lovely home. And you know how people say George Washington slept in their home? Well, not many people can say they had a movie filmed in their house."

In order to give you guys an idea, Layton lies about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh. It's a quaint little village that is so tiny that it doesn't even have a zip code or even a stoplight. Scott and Barbara Lloyd, who were the previous owners of the house got married in the foyer, which appears in the movie along with the dining room. When they put the house back on the market in 2015, the couple initially quoted $300,000, but they cut the price of the three-story Victorian to $249,900 the next year.

Ultimately, an anonymous buyer bought the house for $195,000 and according to Dianne Wilk, he is a fan of the movie. In an interview with The Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, she said, "Because of 'The Silence of the Lambs,' that's what piqued his interest, and that's how he found the home."
