Alphas?

Anyone seen this? It's about a team of investigators with special powers. Been watching it this past week. Not bad.

I remember it from when it aired on SyFy a few years back. Had a cool premise (very X-Men), but I watched the first two or three episodes and it didn't grab me so I let it go.

I thought it was cool that they used a Monster Magnet track ("Heads Explode") for the theme song. I love that band! :D

Finished the 1st season. It gets better as it goes, but still keeps the same formula. It's basically a police procedural, with some light superpowers. If you don't like procedurals, or if you were expecting some big-super hero shenanigans, then it's not for you. (Not trying to insert words into your mouth; I mean this in a general sense, "If someone expects this, then they won't like this.")
