For some reason, I wanted the guy with the chainsaw to experience kickback.

Also, what reasonable person closes a body of water because someone says there's a monster in it? Even if that person's an expert, monsters are too far outside of normal experience to be taken seriously. Alligators, sharks, jellyfish, pollution, sure; I'd believe those threats, but a monster? That's only a threat if you're in a horror movie, TV show, novel, short story, etc.

Alex, I've often wondered what you would think of SA's first horror movie "Jannie Totsiens" [Johnny Goodbye]? A movie made by intelligent people, for intelligent people and featuring intelligent characters, most of whom are nonetheless insane.

I have a week off work. If you have a link for where I can watch it, I'll check it out. I have tried looking for it, but could find an English language or subtitled version.
